The classes in the cruises vary when running in the sector of Port Blair and Havelock. The classes vary in terms of seating and views. The higher the cost and better the view from the cruise. The 3 different clapsses exists such as Premium, Deluxe and Royal exists in these cruises. However, the class may vary from one cruise to the other. Makruzz
Makruzz was the best initiative taken to connect people effectively and efficiently. This cruise was introduced in the year 2009. Makruzz sails mostly in region from Port Blair to Havelock and return. As the season(September - April) approaches, Makruzz adds couple of sailing to Neil Island as well. 3 Classes Premium, Deluxe and Royal exists. Premium seating is at a lower level with seating arranged in order of 3-3-3-3. The corner seatings have glass windows from where you can peep out to explore the ride. Deluxe seating is at upper deck with seating arranged in order of 3-3. The Royal class is also located in Upper deck and has more comfortable 2-2 seating that adds enhanced experience during your trip.
Makruzz Gold
Makruzz Gold was second in the fleet of the Makruzz group. This cruise operates in Port Blair, Havelock and Neil island sector. Makruzz gold is faster than the previous version of Makruzz. Makruzz gold has 3 classes Premium, Deluxe and Royal.
Coastal Cruise
Coastal Cruise is another ferry that was introduced to meet the demands of high number of travelers visiting Andaman Islands. This was launched in 2012. It also started operating more consistently in the region from Port Blair to Havelock Island, Neil Island and vice versa. Thus providing flexibility for travelers visiting Andaman Islands. The classes are organized as Executive Class, Lounge Class, Coastal Class and Premier Class. Coastal and Premier classes located in the upper deck and others in the lower deck. This cruise also follows the same seating order of 3-3-3 or 3-3. This cruise takes less than 2 hours to reach Havelock island From Port Blair.
Green Ocean
Green Ocean 1 is the first cruise introduced which provides the customer with an experience where they can come outside from their seating and can enjoy the vast open season. All other cruises that sail in the islands are closed and does not allow you to come outside. Green Ocean 1 has economy, luxury and royal class seatings. Sea link cruise in the Andaman and Nicobar islands started its operation in 2019. Its among the latest cruise in the Andaman islands. Sea Link booking can be done online and this cruise operates in Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island. Sea Link Cruise has Premium, Premium+ and Business Class. This cruise takes over 2 hours to reach Havelock island From Port Blair.
Express Bhagya
Express Bhagya cruise operates in the sector of Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island. This cruise has only class namely Premium. The cruise has a very different experience than other cruises. This cruise does not sail in the months of June, July and August.
ITT Majestic
ITT Majestic has launched just recently in 2019. This cruise is fast and offers rich experience to travelers going from one island to the other. ITT Majestic operates from Port Blair to Havelock Island. This cruise does not allow you to come to the deck and see the sea. The cruise is 33 Metre long and has 200 seating.
Makruzz Pearl
Makruzz Pearl will join the fleet of Makruzz group. This cruise is expected to be launched in 2019. This cruise will be the most advanced cruise under the Makruzz banner. The cruise will have a capacity of around 300 People.
This cruise operates in Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island only. It is expected that in 2019, some cruises will sail from Port Blair to Baratang Island as well. The daily frequency of these cruises is high in region from Port Blair to Havelock and Havelock to Port Blair. The frequency reduces in region from Port Blair to Neil, Neil to Havelock, Havelock to Neil and Neil to Port Blair. During peak season you may expect the cruises to double its sail in the islands. One thing to note here is that in June, July and August some of these cruise may not operate and the frequency reduces.
Most cruises start their first trip between 6 AM To 8 AM from Port Blair to Havelock and the second one at 2:00 PM from Port Blair to Havelock. The 2:00 PM one is not consistent and is only operated during peak season months that is November, December and January. If you want to reach from Port Blair to Neil Island then there are very few cruise that takes this route. The other way to reach Neil island could be from Havelock island. This again leaves by 8:00 AM from Port Blair. The return ferries from Havelock and Neil Island to Port Blair starts by 3:00 PM or 4:30 PM.
